With the International Essay Competition, the World Bank and its partners invite youth aged 18-25 to share their experience and ideas on community work and participation in public life.

The Essay Competition 2009 (How does climate change affect you? How can you tackle climate change through youth-led solutions?) was co-organized by the World Bank, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, and the Ministry of Strategy and Finance of Korea, in partnership with several prominent academic and civil society institutions, including RAD. For the first time, the competition included multimedia submissions: photos and videos. View the winning submissions

Essay Competition 2010 will be launched around January 2010.
